Toshiba Regza AT300 Android Tablet
Toshiba has announced the first Honeycomb-powered tablet with 10.1-inch, it’s named Toshiba Regza AT300. The Toshiba Regza AT300 Android Tablet comes with 1GHz NVIDIA ARM-based Tegra 2 SoC (system-on-chip) with runs on Android 3.0 Honeycomb for Operating System. Toshiba AT300 Android Tablet will be available first time in Japan market in June 2011 with a ¥60,000 sticker price or equivalent of around $700. Unfortunately, there is no information about US release date or price, but there is rumors if the Toshiba Regza AT300 Tablet will be arrive in the US in the first half of this year.
Toshiba Regza AT300 Android Tablet is equipped with 16 GB internal memory, 5 megapixel rear-facing camera as well as a 2 megapixel front-facing one, 1GB RAM and a 10.1-inch LCD Adaptive Touch Screen with resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixel which promises better visibility when outdoors and allows it to adjust color balance in addition to brightness depending on the ambient light.
Other feature of the Toshiba Regza includes an SD card slot, mini USB, headphones socket , HDMI port for connect to external monitor, video format on H.264, H.263, MPEG-4 , Audio formats on MP3, WMA, AAC and also connect the handset with other Toshiba Regza AT300 Android Tablet devices like HDTVs, Blu-ray player, laptops, smartphones or media players with REGZA Apps Connect, Android Market, G-mail,Google Maps with Street View, G-Talk, Google Search by voice.
For connectivity, Toshiba AT300 Android tablet comes with WiFi b/g/n, A-GPS, Bluetooth, 7-hour battery life, also Multi Touch, Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, Light-Sensor (Ambient), Proximity Sensor for Auto turn or off and measures in 177mm x 273mm x 15.8 mm with weight has 765g.
